About Us

Japanese Gourmet has been an active member of the Pike Place community for nearly 20 years, by supporting Pike Place Market foundation and many of their initiatives on historical preservation and social equality. We incentivized many auctions and fund raising events over the years to support the following great causes:

  1. Low Income Housing Institute - NPO which provides supportive services, classes and opportunities to individuals and families to overcome homelessness
  2. The set-up of Pike Place Market museum
  3. Kin On Healthcare Center - a hospice for low-income elderly and those with no financial support)
  4. Pike Place Market foundation
  5. Neighborcare Health - sponsored "Feast at the Market" to support low-income people's medical and mental health care
